The deal, written out. What the free demo does and doesn't commit you to, what you get for $299, who owns what, and where our responsibility stops.
Effective 18 September 2026 · Version 1.4
The demo is free and puts you under no obligation — you don't owe us anything and you don't have to proceed. Until you pay, the demo stays ours. Once you've paid in full, the website is yours outright, on accounts in your name. We do careful work, but we can't promise Google rankings, customers or revenue, and nobody can promise the internet never breaks. If something does go wrong, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us. The rest of this page is the detail.
These terms are between you (the business requesting or buying a website) and CashTech, a registered business name of 1001307533 Ontario Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario and operating from Brockville, Ontario (“CashTech”, “we”, “us”).
Your agreement is with the corporation. Nothing in these terms creates a personal obligation on the part of any director, officer, employee or contractor of CashTech, and any claim arising out of our work is against the corporation alone.
Our services are offered to businesses, not to consumers. By requesting a demo or buying a website you confirm you are acquiring these services for business purposes, not for personal, family or household use.
You accept these terms when you tick the box on our demo request form, and again when you pay.
You ask for a demo. We build you a homepage. You look at it. Nothing about that creates an obligation on either side.
The one-time fee is $299 plus HST for the first 20 Brockville businesses, and $499 plus HST after that. It covers:
Timelines depend on you. We quote about a week from the point we have your photos, words and any corrections. If those don't arrive within 14 days, the project pauses and rejoins the queue when you send them. That isn't a penalty — it's how half-finished websites avoid turning into six-month projects.
HST. We are registered for HST. Every price on this site and in any quote is stated before tax. HST at the Ontario rate of 13% is added to the amount you pay, and it appears as a separate line on your invoice along with our HST registration number — so if you are registered yourself, you have what you need to claim it back.
Your ongoing costs. Your domain name, roughly $20 a year, paid to the registrar rather than to us. Some businesses choose paid extras such as a business mailbox; we'll tell you before anything costs you money.
Your content stays yours throughout. Your logo, photos, text and business information are yours and always were.
The website becomes yours when you've paid in full. On receipt of the full fee we assign to you all copyright in the finished website we deliver. Until then it stays ours.
We keep ownership of our own general-purpose tools, components and know-how — the things we reuse across projects. You get an unlimited licence to keep using them as part of your site, for as long as you like.
Your domain, hosting, calendar and payment accounts are registered in your name. If you leave, you take all of it. There's nothing to unlock and nothing to ask us for.
$49 a month plus HST, first month included with your build, cancel any time without notice.
What a "small change" means. Edits to what's already there — hours, prices, staff, photos, a service description, a phone number. As a rule of thumb, anything we can do in under half an hour. New pages, new features, redesigns and integrations are quoted separately.
The monthly report. It's built from your own Google Search Console and from the enquiries your contact form has sent you. It shows search impressions, clicks and the terms people searched — not individual visitors, because we don't put tracking on your site.
Turnaround. Two business days from when your email reaches us. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Ontario statutory holidays.
Fair use. There's no counter and no ticket limit. If requests regularly run well beyond the above, we'll have a conversation about it before anything changes — we won't quietly send you a bill.
If you cancel. Your website stays yours and stays on your own accounts. We stop making changes and stop charging you. The current month isn't refunded.
Your website depends on other companies — the hosting provider, the payment processor, your domain registrar, Google. We set them up and we'll help you deal with them, but they're not ours. We're not responsible for their outages, their price changes, or decisions they make about your account. Their own terms apply to you directly.
We'll say this plainly, because plenty of people in this industry don't.
To the fullest extent the law allows:
None of this limits anything that can't be limited by law, and none of it applies to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation on our part.
Either of us can stop at any time.
If we stop before your website goes live, we refund the one-time fee in full. Once the site is live, the one-time fee isn't refundable — the work is done and the site is yours. Care plan payments aren't refunded for the current month, and we won't charge you again after you cancel.
If we change these terms, we'll publish the new version here with a new version number and date. The version you accepted is the version that governs your project — we don't apply new terms retroactively. Your acceptance, including which version and when, is recorded when you submit the form.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
